Dr. Daniela Dimitrova

Daniela Dimitrova joined the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication at Iowa State University in the Fall of 2003. She teaches Global Journalism & Communication Technology courses at the undergraduate level and Research Methods, Mass Communication Theories and Political Communication seminars at the graduate level.
Professor Dimitrova holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida and M.A. from the University of Oregon. Her professional background is working in the media industry in Bulgaria. Since Fall 2020, Dr. Dimitrova serves as Editor-in-Chief of Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, the flagship journal of AEJMC.
