I am a native of Minnesota who bounced back to the Midwest after 24 years in South Carolina. My primary research areas are gender and politics in the US and civic engagement. I hold degrees from the University of Minnesota and the University of Oklahoma. I love visiting national parks and historic sites, playing my flute in a local band, and hanging out with my adult children.
