Research Opportunities

Dr. Lefferts as an undergraduate research assistant — As an undergraduate research assistant, Dr. Lefferts accidentally flooded Dr. Denise Smith's lab at Skidmore College but still collaborates with Dr. Smith on firefighter health and cardiovascular exercise physiology to this day.

Undergraduate students - The Dr. Lefferts are passionate about helping undergraduate students gain research experience. Dr. Wes Lefferts research experience as a Junior in college was instrumental in his education and career path. Interested in gaining research experience early in your undergraduate studies? Contact either Dr. Lefferts to see if there are currently undergraduate opportunities in the lab.
