Safety Training
ISU has moved all training to Workday. There are 4 "Learning Paths" for Baum Lab personnel, depending on their assigned duties. Each path contains several courses that you will need to complete during your onboarding. These courses may need to be "renewed" and expire in 1, 2 or 3 year increments.
- Baum Lab- Lab Training Path
- Baum Lab - Greenhouse Training Path
- Baum Lab - IBC Training Path
- Baum Lab - Staff Training Path
You may need to take one or more paths, as assigned by Tom Maier, Baum Lab Manager. An example of required paths, by duty:

Instructions:
- For your designated path(s), follow each link above to your training modules on Workday
- You will be prompted to login on Workday
- Click on the blue "start course" button at the top of the opened training module to begin.
- Complete each course in due time
Transcripts:
- On left Menu click on “My Learning”
- Scroll down to “View Your Learning History”
- “View Learning Transcript”
- Click on “Export to Excel” Icon
- Download file and send it to Lab Manager
(Your PI will also have access to all their “Team” training records)
