My research is in the area of mathematical modeling, numerical analysis and scientific computing, with applications arising from quantum mechanics, nano optics, geophysics, materials science, etc. My current research interests include:
(1) (Fractional) Quantum Mechanics: semiclassical approaches.
(2) Nano Optics: multi-scale and multi-physical modeling and computation.
(3) Computational Wave Propagation.
(4) Computational Materials Science.
(5) Fast Methods for Hamilton-Jacobi Type Equations.
