Working to establish the connection between RNA sequences, dynamics, and its alternative conformations. The extraordinary number of tRNA sequences enables the extraction of higher order (3-body) correlations predicting the triplets of bases that interact in the structure. This has been a long term goal of Kejue Jia and Jernigan in their research.
