Mary Jurgensen, PhD student

Mary is a PhD student at Iowa State University investigating influences of climate change and land-atmosphere interactions on mesoscale convective systems

Dana Falter, concurrent MS student

Douglas Falter

Dana is a concurrent MS student researching the effects of the land surface on wind turning and helicity in convective storm environments, using radar and lidar observations from the DOE Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) program.

Seth Colston, PhD Student

Seth is a graduate student at Iowa State University researching interactions between convective wind gusts and land surface energy balance, using ARM observations and the DOE Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM).

Ana Sena, Postdoctoral Research Associate

Photo of Ana Sena

I am a postdoctoral researcher studying the contribution of land-atmosphere interactions to the development of droughts over the Southwestern USA. I received my PhD in Earth System Science at the University of California Irvine. My research interests include extreme events, tropical meteorology and climate change.
