Dr. James E Koltes
Position
- Associate Professor
My research program has two main focuses areas, including: 1) investigation of the genetics of production efficiency and health traits in dairy cattle and 2) development of software to help identify genes and genetic markers responsible for production differences in economically important traits in food animal species. I am particularly interested in leveraging data reuse to develop tools for public good that help other genetics and genomics scientists in their respective research areas.
