- Harpole-Pentair Assistant Professor
Hugo is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECpE) at Iowa State University. He is affiliated to the Electric Power and Energy Systems group and the Electric Power Research Center within ECpE. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher of Power Engineering at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO. Hugo’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of electric machinery, power systems, control systems, power electronics, and transportation electrification.
