Hugo is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher of Power Engineering at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO. Hugo’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of electric machinery, power systems, control systems, and power electronics.
