Han Na Lee is an Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at Iowa State University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2024.
The key areas of her research include 1) examining immigrant specific concerns, 2) understanding how sociocultural context shapes relationship experience in ways that benefit mental health and well-being for immigrants, Asian Americans, and other diverse populations, and 3) the impact of racism and oppression on internalized racial belief and identity development. She is also passionate about developing community-based interventions that are culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically appropriate for diverse populations.
