I have backgrounds in GIS, geo-computation, Virtual reality, Human-Computer Interaction and 3D printing. At ISU since 2003, I teach courses in GIS (Geol452/552) and in Python (HCI 575 and HCI 584). My primary research is currently in 3D printed terrain models for supporting geoscience teaching. I'm the maintainer of the TouchTerrain software project, which deals with 3D printed terrain models.
