Zhaoran Liu

Zhaoran was born in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei province in China. He completed his bachelor's degree in chemistry at Sichuan University in 2019. He then entered Prof. Tian-Sheng Mei’s lab and pursued his Ph.D. at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, focusing on nickel-catalyzed cross-couplings. In April 2025, he joined Prof. Yuan Zhang’s lab as a postdoc research associate. In his spare time, he loves hiking, watching movies, and learning English. A fun fact is that he likes watching soccer matches but doesn't play soccer anymore.
