Colleen is a Ph.D. candidate in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) and Predictive Plant Phenomics (P3) Programs. Colleen's project involves using language-based phenotype descriptions to perform association studies. The goal of her research is to develop a pipeline that enables researchers to perform association studies on speech-derived phenotype descriptions. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with minors in Biochemistry and Computer Science from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, PA.
