The goal of ARiEL is to aid students in chemistry labs to better understand instrumentation. Two instruments, a pH meter and a conductivity meter, are being used because they are small, benchtop instruments widely used in general chemistry laboratory courses. The augmented reality (AR) function allows students to interact with the application to obtain more information about the instrument(s). Various resources on how to use the instruments, applications, and experiments, as well as how the instruments operate, are available on the website.
