- Graduate Research Assistant, Gerontology
I am a graduate research assistant with ACL’s Nutrition and Aging Resource Center. I specialize in program evaluation and policy analysis and am responsible for evaluating the resource center’s activities. I am working on my doctorate in Gerontology with a minor in political science. My dissertation focuses on equitable evaluations and needs-based programming. I completed my Master’s in Diet and Exercise at Iowa State, where my thesis was the evaluation of an ACL Innovation in Nutrition Grant. I am a licensed and registered long-term care dietitian and am currently a board member of the Iowa Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, sewing, and running with my small dog.
