I am interested in the numerical modeling of fluid dynamics and transport processes in biological systems. Current research interests include cerebrospinal fluid flow, transport, flow in the gastrointestinal tract, gut transport, peristalsis, dynamics of the gut microbiome, reaction-advection-diffusion processes, the dynamics of bacteria in the presence of fluid flow, fluid dynamics of autocatalytic reaction fronts, and ocular and optical fluid dynamics in neuro-ocular disorders.
