Roy Galang

I am a master's student studying meteorology at Iowa State University. In my research, I use microwave satellite imagery to study precipitation and convection in tropical storm systems, namely African Easterly Waves. My research interests are in tropical meteorology; however, through graduate studies, I plan to expand my skillset and interests to include weather modeling. Before attending ISU, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma's meteorology program in Spring 2025.
