I am a PhD student studying Meteorology at Iowa State University. My current research revolves around subseasonal tropical cyclone activity. In other words, we are analyzing advanced models to see what influences tropical cyclone dynamics in the subseasonal timescale (2 to 6 weeks). My main interests include mesoscale meteorology, atmospheric dynamics, and modeling. I am originally from the small town of Saint Joseph, IL, which is just outside of Champaign-Urbana, IL (2 hours south of Chicago). I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the spring of 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences. Outside of work, you will likely find me watching or playing sports (specifically soccer, basketball, and volleyball) or going on a walk around campus.
