- Concurrent BS/MS
I am a Concurrent BS/MS Graduate Student studying Meteorology at Iowa State University. My research interests are Numerical Weather Prediction, Tropical Meteorology, Synoptic/Mesoscale Meteorology, and Remote Sensing. I am currently researching Tropical Cyclone Rainfall Predictability; exploring what factors or conditions drive extreme tropical cyclone precipitation and create the greatest uncertainty in model forecasts. I eventually want to make contributions towards the improvement of NWP through enhanced data-assimilation or machine-learning. I live in Ankeny, Iowa alongside my girlfriend Tara, and my two cats Fluffy and Fang. I enjoy photography and frequently storm chase when the opportunity presents itself.
