Jon is a graduate research assistant in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Iowa State in Qi An's lab group. His research interests include the computational study of molten salts for nuclear engineering applications as well as modifying catalyst design in order to improve synthesis reaction rates. Jon completed his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Troy University in 2018.
