Marit Nilsen-Hamilton

Dr. Nilsen-Hamilton received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Cornell University and served as postdoctoral fellow in Cell Biology at The Salk Institute. In addition to her current research in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, Dr. Nilsen-Hamilton is pursuing a long-term study to define the mathematical relation between calories consumed and weight gain or loss and to understand its metabolic basis.
