I grew up in Iran, where I received my Bachelor of Science from Beheshti University. I later joined Dr. Rajabi’s Molecular Evolution lab and received my master’s degree in Animal Biology in 2018. In the Fall of 2019, I joined the Interdepartmental Genetics and Genomics program at Iowa State University. Following the rotations, I joined Dr. Nilsen-Hamilton’s lab and am working on aptamer interactions with targets that are protein biomarkers.
