This pilot project was funded through the P50 NIDA Center on Parenting and Opioids, and builds off the Turning Points for Women Study. This study followed mothers who were affected by prior justice-system involvement and their children ages 13-19 (n = 83 dyads). This study explored generational cycles of substance use with the goal of improving interventions to support families affected by substance use and justice-system involvement.
