- Create an experiment that will provide data for one or more peer-reviewed publications
- Create an experiment that requires minimal maintenance
Factorial Treatment Structure (2x2)

- Control (frames no slats)
- Passive warming frames that will be active for 50 days ~April 1 to ~May 20
- Nutrients
- Control
- N or NPK (10 g m-2 y-1) – applied annually on ~ May 20
