- Research Scientist III
My research interests are in the field of molecular ecology and population genetics of a wide range of animal taxa, especially wildlife and insects. My recent research has been extended to investigate population genomics, phylogeography, genetic structure and genetic diversity of endangered fresh water mussels and to elucidate geographic size, dispersal behavior, and pattern and magnitude of gene flow of insect pests of agricultural crops. I am currently applying population genomics (GBS) tools to understand evolution, adaptive divergence, and population/species delimitation of fresh water organisms in the U.S. with the main goal of effective conservation of such endangered species.
