I was born, educated and received B.S. degree in Medical Technology in Taiwan. I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1997. After graduation, I worked with Dr. Michael Getz at Mayo Clinic to study transcription regulation of metastasis-related gene in fibroblast. Then, I studied the regulation of cytoskeleton proteins in Drosophila cell line and yeast model systems at the University of Oregon with Dr. Ken Prehoda and Dr. Brad Nolen.
I joined Joe’s lab in year 2018 and work as a lab manager. It provides me great chances to learn, explore the field of plant biology, especially understanding the plant immunity, communicate and share my research experiences with lab members.
