Dr. Jigang Wang currently hold the John and Mary Weaver Professorship at Iowa State University. He was F. Wendell Miller professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Iowa State University from 2019. He is also senior staff scientist and Group Leader of Light-Matter Quantum Control Project in Ames National Laboratory of Department of Energy. He received his Ph.D. from Rice University at 2005, joined Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow from 2005-2008, and worked at Iowa State University since 2008. His research broadly concerns with diverse driven quantum systems, coherent dynamics, ultrafast spectroscopy, and nano-imaging of complex materials. He is recipient of the NSF CAREER award and the Keck Award on Quantum Microscopy and has been named as an APS fellow and OPTICA fellow (formerly OSA, Optical Society of America).
