My research interests are diverse, although most of my work centers around two main topics: a) biochemical and genetic characterization of ribosome turnover in plants (Arabidopsis) and animals (Drosophila), and b) soybean-insect interactions.
I am also committed to increasing the participation and success of underrepresented communities in STEM.
