Toni Sleugh

I am a second-year undergraduate student majoring in Biology and Environmental Studies. In my first year at ISU, I participated in a research project on biogeochemical cycling in wetland ecosystems through the Honors Program. I then received an NSF REU Fellowship to work on a computational biology project at the Marine Biological Lab at Woods Hole in summer 2018. Ultimately, after conducting research on the effects of aging and environmental change on behavioral and physiological traits of freshwater turtles in the Janzen Lab, I hope to have a career in marine biology, focusing on how animals respond to anthropogenic impacts.
