Jaisy is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Counseling Psychology program at Iowa State University. Her research interests focus on sociocultural risk factors and clinical assessment of mental illness, particularly major depressive disorder, in Asian/Asian American individuals. In her free time, she enjoys taking photos on her film camera, watching horror movies, and going for 3-mile runs.
