Originally from Nigeria and has extensive research and education experience in plant biology. He did his PhD research with Dr. Danny Geelen on the "Regulation of hypocotyl adventitious root formation in tomato and Arabidopsis." After completing his PhD he joined the Kelley lab in 2019. Dami's research is focused on studying the interplay between auxin and sugar signaling during primary root development using genetics, microscopy and omics approaches.
