Clarice Felix Gonzales

I am a PhD student in the Interdepartmental Plant Biology Program. I joined the Kelley lab in Spring 2023. My hometown is Belleville, Illinois and I earned a BS in Plant Biology from Southern Illinois University in 2021, where my major concentration was in molecular and biochemical plant physiology. Combining this background with my main interest in plant genetics, I seek to understand the genetic mechanisms of plant function. In my spare time I like to paint and cook.
