Hyun Kyung Kim is a postdoc research associate in the Department of Kinesiology at Iowa State University. Hyun received her PhD in 2019 in Health Sciences from the School of Medical Sciences, the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Her main area of interest is the application of computational musculoskeletal modeling and medical image processing (3DUS and MRI) in the field of biomechanics. Hyun’s research is interdisciplinary and has worked with engineers, surgeons, radiologists, and sports scientists. The majority of her research output is in the field of musculoskeletal/clinical biomechanics.
