Wilsey's research focuses on how biodiversity and ecosystem functioning are related in grassland systems, how biodiversity-ecosystem functioning relationships are altered in novel ecosystems and with global change, and how restoration projects can be improved to increase biodiversity in heavily human impacted areas. Wilsey teaches Biology 251 in spring semesters, and EEB 511 or 585 in fall semesters.
