Kati grew up in Illinois. She came to Iowa State with a B.S. in atmospheric science from the University of Illinois. She earned the M.S. in agricultural meteorology with Andy VanLoocke and Sotirios Archontoulis in 2017. She earned the Ph.D. in agricultural meteorology with our group in 2020.
