Position
- Visiting Scholar
I am a cuban-argentinian biologist, graduated from the University of Havana, Cuba. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences at the National University of Córdoba and the Plant Pathology Institute in Córdoba, Argentina. My research focuses on plant virology, molecular diagnostics, and protein purification, with an emphasis on the molecular study of Alfalfa Dwarf Disease.
I am currently a Visiting Scholar in Dr. Alejandro Olmedo Velarde’s lab, where I contribute to the characterization of viral populations in crops such as soybean and maize. I also study multitrophic interactions among plant viruses, their insect vectors, and host plants.
