Toyo Zainab Adeyanju
Position
- Graduate Research Assistant
I am from the southwestern part of Nigeria and have always been fascinated on treating the environment well as it determines the health status of its inhabitants. My research focuses on how endocrine disrupting chemicals, released into the environment impact the female reproductive capacity. I aim to understand the toxicity of these chemicals to the ovary and uterus, their mechanism of action and how we can manipulate the pathways involved in the toxicity for therapeutic interventions. My end goal is improving female fertility, whether in humans or in production animals.
