August

  • Meet with participating teachers in Districts A and B during pre-school workshops
  • Recruit participating students in Districts A and B

September

  • Begin progress monitoring data collection activities
  • Teachers will administer two probes twice each month or one probe weekly for the fall semester

October-December

  • Hold monthly conferences with teachers to review student data for the class periods in the "data" condition

October

  • Advisory Panel meeting

January

  • Share end of semester graphs of student performance with teachers and students in all classes
  • Recruit students in new algebra classes in District B
  • Teacher retreat; scoring training
  • Teachers will score student probes for one of their participating class periods for the remainder of the semester

January - April

  • Begin/continue progress monitoring data collection activities
  • Teachers will administer two probes twice each month or one probe weekly for the fall semester
  • Share electronic progress graphs with teachers on a monthly basis for all students in all classes
  • Share error analysis data for students in the data class periods

May

  • Teacher retreat
  • Share progress graphs of student performance with students in all classes
  • Advisory Panel meeting

  • Data analysis and report development
